De Eso No Se Habla (Of This We Do Not Speak) was a performance that occurred from 2013-2016 in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, México, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas México (one iteration seen here), and Toronto, Canada.
The performance was a ritual mourning of women killed by feminicide in each of the places it was performed in. Using my (at the time) raw "female" body, I staged an encounter with the the souls of the women taken through brutal murder to question the erasure of mourning through patriarchal violence.
